Nursing Certificate Attestation Process for UAE

The process starts in the country where the nursing certificate was issued. The exact first step depends on the document and issuing country.

1. Home-country authentication: The nursing degree, diploma or registration certificate completes the required verification by the relevant educational, professional or local authority.
2. Foreign Affairs Attestation: The document is then authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of External Affairs or equivalent authority in the issuing country.
3. UAE Embassy + UAE MOFA Digital Attestation: In countries covered by the UAE Digital Attestation service, one application completes both the UAE Embassy attestation in the country of origin and UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs attestation. The completed attested document is issued digitally for official use in the UAE.

For countries where the digital service is not yet available, the UAE Mission responsible for that country follows the applicable embassy attestation procedure. UAE MOFA currently confirms that electronic attestation through UAE Missions Abroad is available only through selected missions.
