A candidate who has completed their studies from School/colleges and universities outside the Qatar must present a certificate of Equivalency for certain Job(s) CATEGORIES like doctors, Professors, banking staff etc and to enroll for higher studies in the Qatar.

Equivalency certificate procedure in UAE
The main steps involved in this procedure are:
- Original certificates along with transcripts / marksheets
- Passport copy
- Qatar Visa copy

- Documents required for a certificate equivalency
- Attested original ( higher secondary ) + diploma awarded + original classes + a plain copy of all
- If the student graduated from a private school, He/she shall present an equivalency letter from the country of issuance
Citizens and expatriates wishing to obtain an equivalent certificate may submit a request to the Attestation and Equivalency Section at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE).
Such certificate is required by those wishing to join Qatari public schools or ones adopting standards of Qatari curricula only, and not in case of joining private schools or international ones in Qatar.
- Download and fill out the application form, then submit it to the Attestation and Equivalency Section at MOEHE.
- Attach all the required documents.
- A message is sent after submitting the documents to MOEHE.
- It is important to know the equivalence of a certificate in the Qatari educational system.

Kindly note the process may vary depending on the document and the laws of the origin & destination country. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs may be replaced by an Apostille if the origin or destination countries are part of Hague convention 1961.
Original certificates may not be required for some countries.
